Succesful completion of each course makes the student eligible for a certificate of succesful participation, while succesful completion of the four courses makes the student eligible to take the CCNA exam to become a CISCO CERTIFIED NETWORK ASSOCIATE at a considerably reduced examination fee.

Continued education prospects

A CISCO CERTIFIED NETWORK ASSOCIATE may then proceed with more specialized courses in order to seek further certifications (Fundamentals of Network Security leading to the Cisco Firewall Specialist certification and Fundamentals of Wireless LANs leading to the Cisco Wireless LAN Support Specialist certification) or continue studying at the University of Indianapolis, Athens Campus, for a Bachelor degree.
